I'm using LiveJournal cause I like to sew clothes and I wanted to find a place to put pics up and stuff, and to find other people who like to sew for possible collaborations and maybe to even sell some of my stuff. I already have a DeviantART where I post all my stuff. I only have a few things up right now but I'm planning on adding a lot more as I make more things. Well I guess now I'll get to posting my projects.

Oh yeah and by the way, none of the dates are right. The latest is at the bottom, oldest up top. I wanted to keep the intro on top.. there needs to be an option on here for this...

Inside is VERY roomy, divided into two sections by a third zip up section, (doesn't zip, pull-tab's broken off). Plenty of pockets inside as well, "hidden pocket", card pockets, pen holders, etc. Black with mostly light pink accents/trim. $40, *free shipping.
*(unless outside the United States)

This is my pride and joy. It's one of the first major things I ever sewed, besides a quilt or two when I was younger at a quilting class.

I found one of my mom's old Liz Claibourne purses and I thought it was cool and thought I'd pimp it out. I basically just sewed on a bunch of odds and ends that I found around my room.

Let's see... the black X strapped across the both sides are garter straps, the corset-laced sides were cut off my old black sneakers and laced with ribbon, the pink shoe string laces up a cell phone pocket that was previously the front of an old skirt, the pink and black lace pocket I sewed from fabrics from shirts that didn't fit... mostly it's from old clothes. Oh and the back that's mostly pink, with the shirt pocket, was a pink button-up shirt that I sewed and painted on.

My favorite part is the cell phone pocket, it just happened to fit my phone perfectly!

Finished Projects:
A black velvet jacket with pink heart logo and added lace. (I just need to take pictures of it so I can post it).

Current Projects:
A skirt made from old purple cordouroy pants that were worn out from love. Made with a collage of fabrics.

A patchwork purse. (Expensive pink bag given to me, decided to fix it up). I'll probably make it for my mom.

Project Ideas:
I'm planning on posting some fashion illustrations, as soon as I get my scanner working.

This was very easy. As you can probably tell, I don't really have many advanced skills yet... I don't use a sewing machine, either, because I don't have one right now. (I'm supposed to be getting one soon). Right now everything's hand-sewn...

I cut the black & white striped sleeves off another shirt and sewed them on a plain blue tank top, then I made the pink heart logo by drawing a heart on pink fabric, cutting it in half and then sewing it back together, (oh-so-emo ^_^). I sewed the logo on, and I originally had black electric tape trim sewn on the wide collar, but after a few washes that came off...

This was very easy. All I did was cut the sleeves off a grey velveteen shirt I found at the thrift store, I didn't even hem them. Then I cut the shape of a heart out for the logo and put a sheer, glittery purple fabric behind it, sewed that on, cut off the excess behind that, and sewed the stitched-up half. I like it, I mostly wear it with this paisley shirt, but sometimes I wear it alone as a tank top.
